HYPNOS is a design-forward coffee bar located in Portland, Oregon. With a focus on rotating single-origin espresso, pour-over, and batch brew from local and international roasters. Most known for our rotating seasonal menu of specialty drinks, featuring house-made syrups and sauces. All developed behind the bar by Andres.
Founded in 2023, by partners Andres and Michael. Originally from Ecuador and South Florida, they moved to Portland with the dream to open HYPNOS. Our goal was to create a place where the experience, connection, and art of coffee all share equal value.
ABOUT
Hypnos is the Ancient Greek god of sleep, somewhat the antithesis of what we serve, but his connection to something that we all share is what we love so much about him and the name. HYPNOS starts with an ancient god but exists in a contemporary world around him.
